sometimes I eavesdrop on myself
to supervise and surprise my brain
laughing at my own thoughts
stupid electrical impulses pulsing
for example
if I dive into a deep pool, will I dissolve in the water?
I really would like to
or if I complete one more repetition repetition
will my biceps eclipse Olympus Mons?
do my thoughts keep me up at night
or is it that my thoughts keep night up?

and why am I fat with guts but still a chicken?
and is my heart a time bomb that is ticking?
why do I struggle to dance but fight with rhythm?
winter raindrops drop
and the sun burns them off
