with spider leg tripods
and identical black tunnel lenses
all angled at precisely 45.67 degrees
toward the same sturdy oak tree
with the same feathery bird
a redish and whitish pecking woodpecker
set to publish the same photographs
in the same overglossy magazines
and they all go back the next day
but the woodpecker is no longer here
