Found Poetry 945

2/11/22

the old school torn down
like my feelings when I saw it
or rather didn't see it

     ripped up
          extracted

remembering Spanish class
field trips and mathematics
the organic friendships

I drive by when I visit
it feels like an alien planet
or as if it never was

I page through the yearbooks
to feel the breeze of those days
