cabinet of secrets
holding golden writing
births and drawings
each stuffed to the margins
a nest of ghost-like thought
guarded by crocodile lock
as I pace by I hear its teeth talk
don't open me up
it knows I will engage
adding to its depth
or rereading and leave it rearranged
