the mountain has no time for the stupid city
but they climb its steep and clear altar
using grey rocks as stairs
one cannot skip steps on a mountain
fat can turn to thin in an instant
don't fall down the stairs
breaking like twigs in the winter, they grow
leaving waste and taking rocks as trinkets
they fell down the stairs
they wanted to be masters at picking berries
the mountain snatched each worry carried
looking up from the bottom of the stairs
on a hunt for themselves and they won
to return to staring out their grey windows
in the stupid city
