the lady is always god
of gardens and bridges
worn fingers and tin elbows
of ugly unteachable men
wearing fierce hats and reason
dark eyelids the green of grass
beautiful arabesque curves
of soft candles
with raw orange fires
and marble limbs
walking around you
with merciless barbed love
