Found Poetry 1,026

5/1/22

describe it to me
I will try
shore of a musty stream
shells strewn
water swallows the west coast sun
fish swim near the old docks
we find fossil bones in a rock
grandmother calls us back
walking through a spider's web attached between branches

I still feel this memory on me, like the web
the fish have to keep swimming
and grandmother cooking
because the river stopped flowing
