Amanda Gorman Differentiating a Polynomial
5/23/22
The poet Amanda Gorman had a video on her old YouTube channel showing a calculus assignment. In this video, she walks through differentiating a polynomial.
As you can see, the derivative is incorrect. The derivative rule for a polynomial is d/dx xn = n*xn-1, so the x term in the derivative should be -192 not -196.
This video has been removed from Amanda's old YouTube channel. I don't remember exactly from when I watched the video, but I believe she found her mistake and corrected it as the video progressed. Yay!
