Writing Numbers
12/22/20
With the recent Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), many children are at home because schools are closed. Education and fun, however, should not stop. Here is a spreadsheet I created that gets kids working on writing their numbers out in English (or Spanish, or whatever).
First, you can enter in a minimum and maximum number to create a range for the numbers to be randomly selected from. For example, using a min of 100 and a maximum of 2,000 will create random numbers between, you guessed it, 100 and 2,000.
The spreadsheet will then randomly fill in the numbers. You can press F9 to create a new randomly generated list of numbers. I have it create 10 numbers, but feel free to edit as needed.
I set the Print Area, that is, the area that will be printed out when you click Print, to be the area with the grid in the outlined box. This way, you can just open up the spreadsheet and print, and you're good to go.
